Virtual Scans for Reconstruction and Display Verification
The following files are being developed to run an automated scan of virtual
particles through the detectors.
- PWC x-scan
This scans the detectors with muon beams fired along the z axis at y=0 and x stepping across
the detector.
When running a scan, the .ster file contains multiple slices in a
single event. This allows the entire scan to be loaded into memory at one
time, thus increasing the scan display speed. The scan number appears in place
of event number in the FIGS Graphics Window.
