Results from the Straws
High Voltage Plateau Study on Straw Tubes
September 4, 1996
These curves were made on muon data. The curves were regularized by the
number of triggers taken at each high voltage step. All hits from
working straws in each high voltage segment were used in these plots.
I expect that the
operating voltages will be a bit lower than those indicated by these
curves, as the efficiency that we are interested in is the tracking
efficiency not the single straw hit efficiency.
