While for the profiles plots hold the explanations given in the
main beam-spot page
used for the on-line monitoring,
for the beam spot plots, we introduced some minor changes.
The first plot is the J-I position of the vertices, that is as they're seen
in the microvertex reference frame.
We then display the beam spot and the target in the spectrometer's reference
frame (non smoothed and
smoothed). We finally display the Z position of the vertices
without any requirement on the multiplicity of the events.
You should remind that those plots are meant to be a
''normal running'' monitor tool. If special conditions occurr (beam manipulation bt Ops, etc),
you shuold refer to the
on-line beam-spot page,
and/or GHOST SSD profiles (see explanation therein).
SWIC values for a centered beam are (as for 10-APR-1997):
PB4WC1H = +2.7
PB4WC2H = 0.1
Want to see how the beam spot has been in last 22 runs ?
Special thanks to Erik Gottschalk for helping me in setting up all the ''automatic-running'' structure !!!!
